Superstat’s Frank Cassidy Retires

Frank Cassidy retires from SuperstatThis week the team at Superstat bid a tearful farewell to
their friend and colleague Frank Cassidy as he begins his
retirement after 37 years in the industry.

Frank has enjoyed a long and successful career in the office products industry and has been instrumental in the success of many big industry names.

Starting out back in 1979 with a small wholesaler called Harold Mathews in Blackburn before moving to Spicers as their Customer Systems Manager where he helped to develop Progress and Spicer Link during the 1990s. He then spent 7 years at ECi and then spent the latter years of his career in the dealer group community including OSTA, Office Team and of course Superstat.

Frank has no plans for his retirement other than a well-earned holiday with his wife Marylyn.
He commented: “I have enjoyed every single minute of working in this industry and it is all because of the great people I have worked alongside, and the customers I have worked with. “

Marketing Director Karly Haley commented: “We are so sad to say goodbye to Frank, we will miss his expertise, his knowledge and his wisdom, but also his wit and sense of humour; You couldn’t ask for a better person to work with. He is so popular amongst the team, and though he claimed he didn’t want “a fuss”, he’s been talked into a night out where the team will be giving him the send-off he rightly deserves. Frank leaves a huge legacy in the industry and I know that he will he will be missed by many”.
