We would just like to take a minute on behalf of everyone here at Superstat to say thank you for all those who attended this years conference. This year we planned business sessions to inspire and create thought provoking discussions - and they have done just that.

As always we were extremely well looked after, and we look forward to working with the team to explore and develop the exciting opportunities we took away from the event in the very near future.’

Business sessions covered changes within the industry and challenges that delegates may face within the coming months. Our directors and some very special guests held these sessions.
Market Update: Alex Dunn and Graeme Hargreaves
This session addressed the future of the office supplies market, share market statistics and the fact that with changes come opportunities.
This session welcomed Jeff Whiteway of Spicers via a specially filmed video. Paul Clerke and Ian Oakes were available all day to answer all your questions.
Introducing Hubs – Alex Dunn and Graeme Hargreaves
The new concept of Hubs was presented. This is where a dealer run Hub provides logistical and administration outsourcing services for other dealers. Could this be the route to a profitable growth?
Unlocking Hidden Potential – Karly Haley was Joined by Jayne Hill from Vecta.
The session was about unlocking the hidden opportunities within your back office systems could this be the key to increasing sales and GP through coordinated sales and automated marketing?
Service Selling opportunities. – Richard Lockley with Steve Clayton of CTS and Tim Boggie of Watermark.
Richard introduced two exciting new services, which can add value to your customers and give a new angle on prospecting. If you would like more information on CTS and Watermark, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our sales team.
Friday afternoon showcased our vendor exhibition. This was a chance to meet key vendors from spicers and to our group all in one afternoon. The exhibition is a great opportunity to get individual insight into the 20,000+ products they sell. Our vendors are an invaluable part of the conference and it couldn’t be held without them. Some of the vendors this year included Newell Rubbermaid, Pukka Pads, Opi, Spicers, Oasis, Avery, Bic not forgetting the impressive DAMS stand filled with up and coming office furniture.
The Friday night event was our ‘A night in Paris’ Awards Dinner. Our Friday evening recreated the sophisticated elegance of a beautiful summers night in Paris, complete with a champagne reception, traditional French Dessert ('croquembouche') and Moulin Rouge Dancers greeted guests before entering the dinner.
Every year we hold a Superstat Raffle and leave golden envelopes on each table for attendees to donate to our chosen charity, this year was no exception.
This year’s charity was the BOSS CAFOD Project. The project sends products to children in Southern Sudan to help with learning in school.
£1035 was raised in total at the gala dinner, which Superstat made up to £2200.
